The people seeking peace after conflict in the Central African Republic
The Observers is a collaborative project that includes both a website and a weekly TV show, all based on amateur content.
The Central African Republic has been in the grip of a conflict since 2013 that has turned two religious communities in the country - Christians and Muslims - against each other. But some locals in the country's capital are trying to change all that. Our journalist Corentin Bainier went to Bangui to meet the people leading initiatives to heal the rifts between Christians and Muslims.
The Observers program brings you the best amateur images from around the world, all verified by France 24 journalists. To see more reports from our Observers – and to become an Observer yourself! – head to our website: www.observers.france24.com/en.
