The hashtag #BuccalFatRemoval has more than 170 million views on TikTok. This plastic surgery "trend" went viral, helping make buccal fat removal one of the fastest-growing procedures. It involves removing pads of fat from the cheeks in order to make a person's face look more chiselled. But it entails risks too, as one surgeon explained to our team.
