What would push someone to rob a bank? What about robbing their own bank and asking for their own money? Lebanese banks have been restricting withdrawals for three years now because of the country’s economic crisis. Now, people have turned to extremes to get their hands on their cash.

On this week's episode of The Observers, we spoke to Ibrahim Harb from the Association of Depositors in Lebanon. He told us that everyday Lebanese people are unable to access their savings for urgent expenses. He expects these "robberies" to continue as long as people can't access their money.
