Replanting trees in a Tunisian forest devastated by wildfires

Each month, our journalists go meet an Observer to take a closer look at events they have witnessed.


Over a hundred volunteers have been turning out each weekend to plant pine trees in Kesra Forest, in northwestern Tunisia. The Soli & Green collective, which launched the campaign, hopes to plant 20,000 pine trees by the end of March.
