In September, President Putin's United Russia party launched a paper campaign across Russia. The slogan: "Putin's Plan - Victory for Russia" (Plane Puntina - Pobeda Rossii). Internet users react to these posters and booklets distributed in the street by members of the party.

"This morning I was given a copy of the 'Putin Plan' booklet on the subway.... Why does it speak about the party's plan at the end of the second mandate? ... Additionally, the poster (photo) seems completely Orwellian to me. Or, more precisely, it makes me think of City 17 in Half-Life" [a first-person shooter video game]

Extracts (the tone is ironic) :

The president has beaten all of his rivals

There is no other leader: Vladimir Putin

All of Russia will unite under his reign

Because he's our hero and our idol

His authority is all mighty in the country

"Putin's plan" will broaden our horizons

It's time to break up everything and start again

(…)

With Putin's Plan, we have the weapons to conquer

Our glorious orthodox nation is waking up

We have Putin, God, and a united Russia
