On August 4, 2020, a double explosion in the Port of Beirut shook the Lebanese capital. At least 214 people lost their lives and 6,500 were injured in the devastating event. The world watched on as eyewitnesses documented the blast with their smartphones, capturing the explosion and the destruction that followed.
