A post on Twitter has gone viral, claiming that the media is ignoring a massive protest mobilisation for pension reform in France. The problem? The photo in the post is actually from 2020.
A post on Twitter from January 18 claimed, "If the television media wasn't owned by billionaires, you would have seen coverage of yesterday's massive general strike in France against pension cuts. This is what Paris looked like" above a photo showing a massive mobilisation of people on a Paris street.
The post received over 30,000 likes on Twitter, and was shared more than 12,000 times. But the photo in this post is actually from January 9, 2020 during pension reform protests.
Watch out for this post, liked over 30 thousand times, which says massive protests over pension reform took place this week in France. The photo in the post is actually from a protest in 2020: https://t.co/CDnw0RO31n https://t.co/G26Mog5NO3
