Deadly floods in Guinea exacerbated by garbage-filled drains

Five children died in Conakry, Guinea, in mid-May after heavy rains caused flooding in the capital. Our Observer, Fatoumata Chérif, said garbage had blocked the drainage canals, further contributing to the floods.
