On social networks, there are many pages that curate amazing photos of nature, often featuring wild animals or natural phenomena in action. These posts often get thousands of likes and shares.

But if you look at these images and feel that some of them seem just be a bit too good to be true, well, your hunch might be right. Frequently, popular nature images turn out to be composites of several photos that have been PhotoShopped into one. Some of them are even created from scratch by digital artists.
