A Mexican prison warden was caught red-handed after he was filmed taking money to allow visitors to enter Culiacan prison in the country’s northwest. Friends and relatives of prisoners are systematically asked for money to visit the prison, according to Mexican media outlets. The bribe is completely illegal, of course.

The guard was immediately suspended by Mexico’s interior ministry after the video was published on YouTube on January 4.
