In our latest France 24 Observers show, Derek Thomson looks back at some of the many videos in which US police officers can be seen killing unarmed men - starting with Rodney King, and ending with cases from the past few years, when more and more of these videos have emerged.
But are the officers punished? Rarely. They often get little more than a slap on the wrist.
