China tries to put the brakes on speeding drivers with fake police cars
Issued on: Modified:
Police in China are trying out a new method to incite drivers to slow down. They have pasted photos of patrol cars on cut-out billboards, which they station by the side of the road.
These fake police cars, which have been deployed along the Beijing-Hong-Kong-Macao Expressway, come complete with red and blue lights and a screen that reads: “We’re monitoring your driving speed.”
