Adrenaline hunters rejoice: here’s introducing the world’s steepest rollercoaster. Japan’s Fuji-Q Highland Amusement park, in the shadow of the legendary Mount Fuji, unveiled the stomach-flipping Takabisha ride on July 16. The attraction includes seven major twists and a nerve-jangling 43-metre-high drop, in just 112 seconds.
Costing an eye-watering 3 billion yen (26 million euros) to build, the ride was dubbed “World’s Steepest Rollercoaster” by the Guiness book of world records.
