A huge sand storm blew across US state of Arizona on the evening of Tuesday July 5, engulfing the state’s capital Phoenix, and causing travel chaos for flights scheduled to land at the city’s main airport. According to meteorologists, the wall of sand had a width of 80 km with gusts of winds of up to 100 km/h (62 mph). The amateur video footage of the storm is impressive.
