Unique footage of a military attack on university dormitories by Iranian authorities has emerged on the web, eight months after it was filmed by the soldiers involved.

Unlike all other post-election amateur images we've seen of clashes so far, these video were filmed by officers involved in the operation. Unlikely evidence, considering that according to Iranian law, the police are not allowed to enter the university without prior permission from the director.

The video shows special forces officers and plainclothes Basij militiamen entering a dormitory of Tehran University, where students are protesting the results of the presidential election, held two days before on June 12. The students appear to have been throwing rocks from the windows and burning a fire outside.
