Welcome to our special edition of The Observers - "USA 2008: The US Election seen through the eyes of 10 American voters." We have signed up a select team of volunteer Observers to tell us what they think of the candidates, the campaigns, and the issues. They come from across the US demographic and political spectrum. They'll tell us how the issues impact their daily lives in the US, and how this might affect their vote on Election Day.
Each week they'll tell us about one campaign issue - the economy, the financial crisis, Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. They'll also watch the presidential debates and tell us how they think the candidates performed. Then they'll join us in a live chat the night of Nov. 4 to see who will be the next president of the United States.
* OK - you've counted the pictures and you see there are only nine. We're looking for one more volunteers to round out our panel - ideally someone who works in the financial industry or who attends an evangelical church. If you're interested, send us an email
