Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx, New York City, I have a long history as an immigration rights activist. I currently practice law at a New York City law firm. Besides a BA from Harvard University, I hold a Masters in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a law degree from Columbia University School of Law. Besides lawyering and political and community work, in my spare time, I’m an independent film producer.
