Benjamin Carruth is the eldest of the three sons of Hayden (a minister and educator) and Sylvia (a clinical therapist). He grew up in various parts of the midwestern United States, pursuing a diverse collection of academic and professional interests. He is living and working as a writer and homemaker in Atlanta with his wife Lindsay.
