I heard on National Public radio in the U.S about this project and I cannot help myself but ask the editors how can they hope to know when the so called observers feed them with tainted, untruthful, biased reporting, laced with personal preferences? It is well established that the BBC, the New York Times, CBS, Reuters and many other "Main Stream Medias" have not only staged, manufactured and created news, but that their reporters are not only partisan but outright posers and fabricators. This includes the staff, contributors and their many "sources" (NGO's)who often participate in terrorist activities in Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Africa ("Rescuing the Children of Darfur?). What makes a mid level desk man in Paris, know the difference between real news and staged events?

This debate threw up quite a dichotomy related to the authenticity of any journalism. The Observers site tries to police some of the unsolicited garbage that we see from amateur 'journalists' on the internet, yet does so by using items from non-professional sources. A tricky line to walk, so the best of luck to you with that.
I would always prefer to use a site such as this in preference to reading anonymous blogs, but in truth I would probably prefer to read reports from professionals in the field (I don't altogether mistrust ALL journalists, you see!).

Nice
Soumis par Blaz (non vérifié) le mer, 06/02/2008 - 02:01.Finally the media started to get what more experienced people doing Internet marketing have been doing for a few years now.
Corporations are also beginning to understand the importance of interaction with their customers and are beginning to use blogs.
Nice video.
