Controversial CM depicting Obama as a Monkey
Submitted by Brother Malcolm MC (not verified) on Wed, 02/07/2008 - 17:31.Zurui,
Hit me with an email so that we can discuss matters of mutual interest. I'm about to release my piece on the eMobile CM and would like your input. I have an exclusive interview with the president of the company. It was my letter to him that forced him to pull the ad campaign wihin 24 hours of him reading it. Members of my musicians union, Japan African-American Music Society or JAMS and repesentatives of JAFA, the Japan African-American Friendship Association as well as other Black individuals attended a news conference which we held at the CNN Tokyo offices. The CNN story ran two days later. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I wanted to say thanks because I have a interest in the Japanese culture. Basically the topics you write about surprised me but not in a bad way. I appreciate that another Black individual is speaking about the other side of Japan rather than the typical topics of music and hip hop. I've visited Tokyo twice and looking to move there in the near future. Now I have another site to look forward to reading. Please continue doing what you do it is appreciated even if some do not understand where your coming from. Thank you.
