About me :

Makbula is social activist of Palestinian rights in Israel. She is an Israeli-Palestinian - somebody who considers themself Palestinian by nationality but is registered as an Israeli citizen. Her mother is an internal refugee from Hittin, and because of these she has an interest to photographing the destroyed and ethnically cleansed Palestinians villages. Makbula is an activists for the defense of women rights in Israel, and she also works at al-Shams radio station.
