Mohamadou was born in Mayo-Banyo in the Adamoua province of Cameroon. He studied economy and management at the University of Ngaoundéré. He has worked for several student magazines and radio shows and the Cameroon daily Le Messager. He is now the editor in chief of an online news site and works as a correspondent for the online magazine AFRIQU’ECHOS (www.afriquechos.ch). He's currently doing a refresher course at The Advanced School of Mass Communication in Yaoundé (ESSTIC.
