These T-shirts, which read "Gabon first" on the front and "Foreigners forbidden to vote" on the back, refer to persistent rumours that foreigners voted during the elections in Gabon. Ali Ben Bongo, election winner and son of the late president Omar Bongo, is said to have distributed voting cards to Liberians or Congolese immigrants who don’t even hold the Gabonese nationality."
