No dogs, no farmers…

A blogger from Jilin province came across this shocking image on display outside a shopping centre in the town of Changchun. Discrimination plain and clear? Oh no, says the mall.

Artist and blogger Bao Yongliang took the photos and posted it on his blog, adding this comment: "Don't tell me oh-so-professionally that this is the international symbol for improper attire. F*** that. I used my mobile phone to take the photo and they came to stop me. This is a place with no freedom or rights whatsoever."

We contacted Bao but he preferred not to elaborate.

Miss Zhou Peng is administrative manager of the ZhuoZhan Charter shopping centre.

Yes these stickers are displayed by the entrances to the centre. But our mall is open to everybody and we had no intention of preventing certain groups from buying our products. If you look carefully, you'll see that the person's hat is not put straight, she's not wearing shoes, and is not wearing much. The logo is merely there to remind customers to dress correctly when they come shopping here.

It's true that this logo might give the wrong impression, that it could be associated with farmers, especially for foreigners. We're going to discuss the matter and make any necessary changes."

Usual rubbish ,i have had dogs pratically all my life,would not take him into a mall ,or shopping arcade,get educated .ignorance is no excuse.

i've got an Italian friend who is doing historical redecoration job, one day she come to a famous brand store with friends in work uniform, got stopped by the security person at the door, they were told they cant go in with clothes like that.
but you know things always there is a twist, her family is every every rich.

but same as night club, if you dress in a way that doesnt go with the flow... i mean, you cant get in ,tough!
