Thirty years in Michael Jackson’s skin

Walking the streets of Mexico City, you might bump into what looks like Michael Jackson. Don't panic, he hasn't risen from the grave. It's just Victor Jackson, an MJ impersonator for the past 30 years. Here's his reaction to the King of Pop's death...

I haven't stopped crying since the news came out. Mourning for a normal fan is different from someone like me, who has impersonated him for the last thirty years. I don't want to see anybody or even leave the house. Friends and family phone me to know how I'm coping.

I began to impersonate him when Off The Wall came out in 1979. People kept telling me in nightclubs, especially Americans, that I looked very much like him. When Thriller came out, I began to realise how big he would become. I was thrilled by his white gloves and his characteristic hat and sunglasses. For me, the way he moved and did the moonwalk was just phenomenal.  All this made me decide to dedicate my life to impersonating him. I love it, and I have to admit that every dance move Michael came up with, I rehearsed for three or four hours a day.

I did get the chance to meet him when I worked for his record label. There was a casting for an impersonator, and fortunately I was picked. I travelled worldwide to promote his albums on radio, TV shows, in shopping centres and nightclubs. When he came to Mexico City, I received an invitation from him to a small gathering in Hard Rock Café. It was the best experience of my life. For me, Michael Jackson will always be alive".

My MJ

Victor Jackson as MJ’s impersonator is really doing us a big favor. Being doubles by MJ makes as remember him every now and then. Jacko really touches our lives. In relation to this, the OK magazine Michael Jackson cover, is part of a tribute issue to the recently deceased singer. The Ok magazine Michael Jackson cover isn't going to require an all black cover and no one is forced to smell a metaphorical glove, but it's what's inside the cover that has people up in arms. The magazine is rumored to have the last picture of Michael alive, or perhaps just after death, as the possible post mortem photo taken of the King of Pop. Critics have thus far denounced the announcement of a possible death photo of Jackson, with the innocent OK magazine Michael Jackson cover, as little more than a crass grab for instant cash.

thirty yeARS?

he's been training three to four hours a day for thirty years?
His moves seem rather slow even i could do that! Respect what the man does but dont know if the four or five people in the front are interested: they keep turning their faces away..
Michael's alive anyway>>in our hearts.. He was the king after all, Jackson 5: amazing, until the Dangerous album also:great stuff> And he did know how to pick the best people to work with: Paul Mccartney, Slash, and Quincy. Think i ll have to turn black to pay full tribute.
Heal the world, make it a better place for you and for me and the entire paris race

I Dont agree that Michael Jackson is dead

you know it was in the morning of that day at 0200hrs when i woke up to do some of my police work but only to find that the death of Michael Jackson was announced on the television i didn`t believe it mostly i thought of the scene in the thriller album were she touched a woman after she thought he was a ghost by saying "what`s the problem". With this i will never agree that he is dead maybe after i have seen his burial.
