Didier Gakuba, Kigali textiles tradesman, sent us photos of the demonstration. He gives us his account of the event.
There were tens of thousands of us peacefully demonstrating today to denounce the arrest and extradition of Rose Kabuye. There were so many people demanding her liberation, Kigali was like a dead town. There were calls to demonstrate but a lot of people just came along spontaneously because Rose is a heroine in Rwanda, she’s very important here. She was mayor of Kigali and is highly placed and respected in the army. I hope she will be judged fairly in France but we don’t trust French justice because her case has been politicised.
The deterioration of relations between Kigali and Paris saddens me, but as long as French people refuse to recognise their mistakes and responsibility for the genocide, this distancing is necessary.

I DOUBT FRANCE'S JUSTICE!!
Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Fri, 21/11/2008 - 13:42.Who has ever given what he does n't have? France government has done so much eveil in Africa and evil squared in Rwanda. The interahamwe(Genociders) were trained and supported by French and when they were defeated by Rose and Collegues, most of them went France and neigbouring countries like Germany. How can a criminal be a judge? But don't worry our Rose. Dont worry our Hero! You spent many in trenches while starving and finallly won it! You secured me when i was dying and i now i enjoy the fruits of your sweat and sacrife. Even if the whole world turn away from us, the Our God will come to rescue as he did in 1994. I am sure we will live ...and then live...and the truth will prevail.

Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Fri, 21/11/2008 - 09:37.You are the living proof that man can live without a brain! Judging by the old saying, "What you don't know can't hurt you," You are practically invulnerable. You don't know Rwanda by now i guess, as many pals told u plz came in Rwanda and get the situation on ground and talk what you know.
Ordinarily people live and learn. You just live. why can't u learn from the visible things in Rwanda there is no doubt that Whatever anyone says to you goes in one ear and out the other because nothing is blocking traffic.
Rwanda and freinds of Rwanda stand strong nothing to worry about.
May those who love us love us.And those that don't love us,May God turn their hearts. And if He doesn't turn their hearts,May he turn their politics ,
So we'll know them by failling politically.
Mr. Trueman!.

Rwandan Dictatorship
Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Thu, 20/11/2008 - 08:21.This is just the evidence of dictatorship in Rwanda and Africa as a whole. How a government can organise demonstrations against justice? In Rwanda people organise demonstrations only to support the government, not to claim their rights, to fight against discrimination, to get freedom, to get a job, to have access to equal political, economic and civil rights. Imagine a country where people are forced by the government to demonstrate.

I wonder why you assume they
Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Wed, 26/11/2008 - 15:21.I wonder why you assume they are groups of 10s. Sweden had more than 100 protesters, Norway had more than 70 protesters, I have been able to get those figures just to give you an example. Even if they were 10 people, if they are united they can overcome injustices just like the greedy regime of you guys and the French were defeated back in 1994 by few RPF militias who in turn ended the genocide. So go to hell!!!

Why
Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Thu, 20/11/2008 - 14:18.I should let you know that your assumption is rotten. I wonder who told you that government forces were forcing people to demonstrate in Rwanda. By the way, for your information demonstrations also happened in none African countries like USA, Sweden, Denmark, France, Norway, and others are still demonstrating. Rwanda has not sent is forces to do what you called forcing citizens to demonstrate. This will put an end to injustices and manipulated minds of disguised supporters of genocide like you and others. We shall surely defeat people who think because of their greed and geographic location are above the law.

If I were Rose Kabuye, I'd
Submitted by Watchout (not verified) on Thu, 20/11/2008 - 19:16.If I were Rose Kabuye, I'd be afraid for my life. If she returns to Kigali she will be assassinated for sure. The truth is that she escaped Kagame and RPF and wants to speak the truth for everybody to know. Ask yourself this question? how the hell did a senior diplomatic member of Kagame's delegation be allowed to travel to a country where she know she was gonna be arrested? she was warned ahead of time by the Germans, and she went anyway. So the truth is Kigali does not know what to do with the case. Please ask Rose to remain in France. Otherwise she next on the elimination list. mark my words people!

Shame on you
Submitted by Unregistered user (not verified) on Fri, 21/11/2008 - 07:40.Am so embarassed of you for having such courage to poison people's minds. Am sure not many will fall victims of your unfounded comments. If i were you, i would put much effort in following world news and where it is heading. Rwanda has established and asserted her position and name in the eyes of the whole world. The leadership and people of Rwanda know what they want. Please get to the ground and know what is happening in Rwanda. The days of massacres are gone though there is still a challenge of dealing with spoilt minds like you. Please endaevour to transform into a responsible world citizen. Otherwise to seem so ignorant of who Rose is to Rwandans, but we are appealing to you to be part of them. Them who know the cause can stick to it.
