"Expect some very offensive football"

turkey-obs.jpg
It will be an exciting and entertaining match. Both teams want to win. Both Turkey and the Czech Republic announced at the press conference they wanted to win.

Both teams players are motivate for the match. The Turkish players say it will be like a final, and they will concentrate as though it were a final. I expect two teams playing very offensive football.

The Turkish population is looking forward to a happy awaking on Monday morning, as Turks around Europe and the rest of the world are ready to celebrate the victory.

The whole country wants victory, and there is big pressure on the players. Experience is very important in this match.

Milan Baros and Peter Cech for the Czech Republic, Volkan Demiral and Arda Turan for Turkey will be the key players of the match.

My prediction? 2-1 for Turkey."

"We have a more balanced team"

Our Russian Observer Ostap Karmodi spoke to Zdeněk Ščasný, former player of Sparta Prague and Czech National team, and a former coach of Sparta and Panatinaikos Athens.

It's difficult to preview the results of today's game against Turkey. I think it will be an open game, and the chances are 50/50. The Turkey team showed its qualities in their last game against Switzerland. On the other hand, we played much better in the last game against Portugal as well, although we lost it. Nevertheless, I believe we have a better, more balanced team, so we should win. It won't be an extra-offensive game, but we won't be playing on the defensive side, as we were against the Swiss. I believe that Bruckner will try to make the team play as we did in the match against Portugal. It means that we will be attacking and using pressure tactics."
