The furious outburst of this Clinton-crazy campaigner will go down as the best bit of the closing stages of the Democratic trail. Harriet Christian is fed up with being overlooked because, as "an older American woman", she's like "a second class citizen". When the final vote comes round, she'll be voting for McCain.
The Democratic National Committee met in Washington on Saturday to decide what to do with the votes from the Florida and Michigan primaries, where neither Obama nor Clinton campaigned. The committee finally opted to count each vote as half; a decision that will almost definitely see Hillary out of the race.
Harriet Christian, a pro-Clinton activist from Manhattan, travelled to Washington to protest against the commission's decision. Enraged, she said perhaps a little loudly what Clinton fans usually keep quiet about.

Submitted by Bob (not verified) on Tue, 10/06/2008 - 16:29.Thats what the Democrats get when they let the Media pick the Candidate and not the People. Hillary's Husband was the last good candiate they ran that understood the people and he was a two term President go figure.

US Election
Submitted by Peter Nangle (not verified) on Sat, 19/07/2008 - 04:08.As an outsider to your country ,but concerned with the outcome of your election for a new President because this will have an effect on the rest of the world. If John McCain is not elected as President of the United States then the dictators of the world will have won the war in Iraq and Afganistan. Can you imagine the outcome if Mr McCain is not elected as president ,we will be ruled by dictators of countries who want to rule the world by force, such as North Korea,Iran,Iraq, and possibly Afganistan.Even though Mr Obama might be a decent person however, he would have no say in the disarmenent of America, once the US has been disarmed of its forces and weapons of security by the Democrats. There is only one way to go people of America for the security of us all and that is to vote Mr McCain as President.Do people also ever ask themselves what they would have done if they were in power of government ,when America was attacked by terrorists?.

Hillary IS John McCain
Submitted by ArizumaBrett (not verified) on Tue, 10/06/2008 - 13:25.Hillary IS John McCain in drag. He/She just doesn't know when to quit. Aging white rednecks. Carter, Reagan, Clinton. (With a break for the white aristocrat Bush I and his n'er-do-well son Bush II, a redneck convert) Enough of the stupidity and closed systems of poor white trash. The future of America is multi-racial, multi-cultural, and cosmopolitan. Let's move forward and embrace the New America and leave the racist, ignorant, and xenophobic America of the past behind.

Perfect Example
Submitted by Anonyme (not verified) on Tue, 10/06/2008 - 12:49.Another exellent example of why I don't trust the Democratic Party....It is amazing how the two year old temper tantrums come out when they don't get their ways, is this really what we want running the country?????? It is said that half of this people are in office anyway (Dems and Reps). I truely think the politians in this country have lost sight of what America and being an honest hard working American is all about.
Please when you vote, be smart, do your homework. Just don't vote for the candidate that is the 'prettiest', most popular, new, who the latest movie star is indorsing or who is just a charismatic speaker. Know where they stand, what goals are actually attainable, and who is going to help this country grow into the powerhouse that it once was. This world is a really scary place right now, I am not 100% behind McCain but I worry about a candidate who has past friends and associates that are really questionable and now that it is 'unsavory' to be associated with these people you dumb them. Just kind of worries me.
You are voting for the most important job in the world, take some responsibility in that.
Before I get off my soap box need to add one thing, you should be ashamed of yourself Rev. White. I think of all of the powerful people that have truly made a difference in this country, people like Martin Luther King Jr. He united, not divided. What you are doing is helping the cause of racism not curing it. But I guess that is what makes our country great, you can say whatever you want and there is no punishment.......
