If it is any consolation, there are plenty of us over here in the UK that are not looking forward to the time when we host the Olympics.
We were told that it would be good for the whole country, but as far as I can see it will only be good for big businesses and London itself.
For something that was supposed stress the beauty of amateur sport, it is awfully commercial these days
