I agree that life without art is meaningless and feel it is wrong that these artist be prosecuted, particularly if they face three years loss of freedom. However I am not surprised that the authorities have taken this standpoint. TV is the most sacred of the establishments mind control weapons. Messing with it means messing with the state's and private enterprisises' ability to 'guide' and control the masses. The moral is therefore, 'don't get caught' and if you do, make your statment sufficiently humorous that public opinion will weigh in your favour.
