Maciej Falkowski – has worked at the Centre for Eastern Studies (Warsaw, Poland; www.osw.waw.pl) since 2002. He is the expert on the Caucasus and Central Asia issues. He also publishes articles about the region in the Polish press. Since 2006 together with friends runs the Kaukaz.net Foundation (www.kaukaz.net). Author of the English version of Turkmenistan blog at the Neweurasia.net Project.
