New York City is one of the most photographed places on earth. Yet thrill-seekers are capturing the Big Apple from new and unexpected angles by climbing up skyscrapers and bridges. Since this is not exactly legal, they post their photos on Instagram under pseudonyms; some of them are followed by tens of thousands of fans.
One of the most popular photographers, Humza Deas, who is just 17 years old, told New York magazine he was inspired by the young Russians who filmed themselves scaling China’s tallest skyscraper earlier this year.
