The first round of Egypt's presidential election began at 8 a.m. Wednesday. Voters are reporting long lines in front of many polling stations.
Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, a former member of the Muslim Brotherhood and now an Islamist presidential candidate, cast his vote at a polling station in Nasr City, a suburb of Cairo.

Khaled Ali, a lawyer, also cast his vote in Nasr City.
Amr Moussa, Egypt's former foreign minister and the former secretary-general of the Arab League, voted in a polling both in the Cairo suburbs.
