Shocking new videos emerge of Japan’s tsunami horror
Dramatic new footage of the tsunami that devastated Japan’s north-eastern coast on March 11 was recently posted on the internet. The video takes place in the town of Kamaishi, 270 kilometres north of Fukushima, one of the worst-hit areas.
At 0’28 seconds, an elderly man appears to be trapped by the rising waters, unable to walk fast enough to reach higher ground. Shocked Japanese web users have focused on his fate in discussion forums in an effort to discover his identity and whether or not he survived.
